This is East Aleppo, December 16, 2016.
This "tragedy," as U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, calls it is not an act of God or some unknown agency. This disaster is the direct result of the United States foreign policy which decided to remove the government of Syria (supported by 99% of the Syrian people, Shia, Sunni, Druze, Alawite, and Christian) and replace it with a compliant government of Washington's choosing. Syria was to be dismantled and looted.
Death and devastation is the not-so-nice hallmark of American hegemony. Hold your nose and look.
The "Syrian civil war" was an invasion by a CIA secret army calling itself, at various times, ISIS, then ISIL, IS, now Islamic State. It is organized, trained, funded, supplied and directed by Washington through its allies in Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the other Gulf Emirates, and Turkey. The core of these forces came from Iraq. They were unemployed Sunnis who were displaced when the United States destroyed Iraq and placed Shia in charge. The Syrians of East Aleppo were, and some still are, hostages of the invaders who use them as human shields and media pawns for the lamestream Western media which brainwashes Western minds.
Russia saved Syria from total annihilation by helping Syrian government troops defeat the invaders and rescue the hostages. John Kerry — himself — is directly responsible for the war crimes along with everyone involved with the blood-drenched Obama Presidency, especially Hillary Clinton, the previous Secretary of State. The Nobel Committee should strip Obama of the Nobel Peace Prize they gave him before his Presidency had even begun.
The gallows awaits war criminals and traitors, as Hillary Clinton and the rest know.
The "tragedy" John Kerry bemoans is the defeat of his CIA secret army known variously as ISIS/ISIL/IS and Islamic State as well as its numerous transmogrifications, al Qaeda, al-Nusra Front, et al. Kerry could not care less about the hundreds of thousands of Syrians his soldiers have killed or have been forced to run for their lives or for the peace his "freedon fighters" continue to sabotage.
