DECENCY

© MMXV V.1.0.0
by Morley Evans

Here is a quote from the latest issue of CounterPunch.

When Douglas MacArthur was placed in charge of “reconstructing” Japan after World War II, he insisted that the Japanese establish labor unions (which they never had), fearing that, without them, management would become too powerful. It’s worth mentioning that General MacArthur was no “We shall overcome” liberal. He was a rightwing Republican.

General Douglas MacArthur was not the man whose memory and image have been highjacked by Washington's warmongers.

I don't know which party Admiral Rickover supported. He was a Jew so he probably was a Democrat. His power base was Congress and the President, not the Navy. One of Rickover's most powerful supporters was Senator Henry "Scoop" Jackson, (D) Washington. Rickover's career took off when Harry Truman was the President and it lasted until Ronald Reagan, so Rickover's career spanned the presidencies of FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Carter and Reagan. He had friends on both sides of the isle.

Yesterday, I posted The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit on my blog. Copyright laws will surely force it to be removed from YouTube but you can watch it until they take it down here:

The business tycoon character played by Frederick March tells the character played by Gregory Peck that there are two kinds of men: There are the nine to five men who have families and there are the men who sacrifice everything to build great companies. March regrets he was the latter kind who short-changed his family. But he says we need both types of men.

People need leaders. They need people who can and will build big things. Those people need other people to do the job. They cannot do it themselves. Everyone is needed.

Most importantly, The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit tells us we need decent people. Decency is the most important thing. I can't stress that enough. We need to stress that more than anything. By the way, Adam Smith was a moral philosopher not an "economist." His main insight was that we are rewarded when we do the decent thing.

This is the full-length 1956 movie. If you haven't watched a movie that comes to grips with life's real problems and uplifts your spirit you had better watch this one.

The Devil's Handiwork

The Temptation of Christ by Ary Scheffer

Mark 1:9-15 tells us that Jesus was tempted by Satan. Matthew 4:1-11 gives us more detail especially Matthew 4:8-9.

8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

Who is served by those who wish to rule all the kingdoms of the earth? Who is served by those who believe they already rule all the kingdoms of the earth? They do not serve Christ. They are not Christians (or Jews for that matter).

Neither does Jesus believe in "defense." Jesus rebukes Peter with, "Get behind me, Satan," when Peter wields a sword to defend Jesus in the Garden of Gesthemane. Matthew 16:23 and Mark 8:33.

Followers of Christ do not yearn to dominate the world nor do followers of Christ believe in "defense" to disguise war.

We believe we have the right to dominate the world as well as the right to obliterate anyone who we think might challenge our dominion.

We (the United States and its puppet-allies) are proud to possess the "most powerful military the world has ever known." We spy on everyone in the world and we commit mass murder in the name of "defense." We practice torture and pre-emptive war. We worship power and violence. We lust after the world's treasures and we smack our chops for every carnal pleasure. We are "secular" and we think that's good. We have explicitly dethroned God in our hearts. We are silent in the face of evil.

Whom do we serve?

ISIS and Boko Haram are our secret projects says the President of Sudan. No Muslim would do the things they do and their crimes are broadcast for them by the word-wide mind control system AKA the Mainstream Media (MSM) — our own crimes are not reported. The wars of the 20th century largely destroyed the faith of Jews and Christians: hundreds of millions were killed. (Most of them were Russians and Chinese.) The lives of hundreds of millions more were destroyed. Entire countries were bombed flat (Notably Germany, Japan, North Korea, and Vietnam. This was not done by the Nazis or the Commies. It was done by us.) "We were only defending ourselves and saving the world." Religion is blamed for causing wars. After 1945, cathedrals became empty. People thought, were there a God, he would not have allowed this to happen. "We need to take control of the situation," is the Zionist creed. Satanic forces are now working to destroy Islam.

Whom do you serve?

The Way You Look

LOVE

© MMXV V.1.0.1
 by Morley Evans

A husband and a wife are two halves of one jigsaw puzzle. Men and women are not the same. They are different. They are not equal in that they are the same. Husbands and wives compliment one another. They make each other whole. They make each other one.
Katharina sums it up in The Taming of the Shrew. Katharina's heart speaks the truth.

Taylor and Burton

ACT V

PETRUCHIO: Katharina, I charge thee, tell these headstrong women what duty they do owe their lords and husbands.

WIDOW: Come, come, you’re mocking: we will have no telling.

PETRUCHIO: Come on, I say; and first begin with her.

WIDOW: She shall not.

PETRUCHIO: I say she shall: and first begin with her.

KATHARINA: Fie, fie! unknit that threatening unkind brow, and dart not scornful glances from those eyes, to wound thy lord, thy king, thy governor: it blots thy beauty as frosts do bite the meads, confounds thy fame as whirlwinds shake fair buds, and in no sense is meet or amiable. A woman moved is like a fountain troubled, muddy, ill-seeming, thick, bereft of beauty; and while it is so, none so dry or thirsty will deign to sip or touch one drop of it. Thy husband is thy lord, thy life, thy keeper, thy head, thy sovereign; one that cares for thee, and for thy maintenance commits his body to painful labour both by sea and land, to watch the night in storms, the day in cold, whilst thou liest warm at home, secure and safe; and craves no other tribute at thy hands but love, fair looks and true obedience; too little payment for so great a debt. Such duty as the subject owes the prince even such a woman oweth to her husband; and when she is froward, peevish, sullen, sour, and not obedient to his honest will, what is she but a foul contending rebel and graceless traitor to her loving lord? I am ashamed that women are so simple to offer war where they should kneel for peace; or seek for rule, supremacy and sway, when they are bound to serve, love and obey. Why are our bodies soft and weak and smooth, unapt to toil and trouble in the world, but that our soft conditions and our hearts should well agree with our external parts? Come, come, you froward and unable worms! My mind hath been as big as one of yours, my heart as great, my reason haply more, to bandy word for word and frown for frown; but now I see our lances are but straws, our strength as weak, our weakness past compare, that seeming to be most which we indeed least are. Then vail your stomachs, for it is no boot, and place your hands below your husband’s foot: In token of which duty, if he please, My hand is ready; may it do him ease.

PETRUCHIO: Why, there’s a wench! Come on, and kiss me, Kate.

Women's Liberation, as it was once called, does not serve women. It serves the sexual fantasies of 13-year-old boys. I am amazed when I discover that adult men, even old men, exhibit the attitudes towards women that they had when they were entering puberty. This is not surprising since relations between the sexes are complex to say the least.
