Presstitution

© MMXIII V.1.0.4
by Morley Evans

Paul Craig Roberts has introduced a new word: presstitute.

I know some presstitues personally. At least I used to know them; they don't talk to me anymore. Presstitution is not something new of course. Hearst and Pulitzer competed to tell lies about the Spanish Empire at the turn of the 19/20th century. Recently, the alleged Boston Marathon bombers were convicted and killed to save the taxpayers the aguish of "listening to their lies and paying to provide them with a platform to spew their hatred of Americans and their freedoms."  Ever mindful of the taxpayers and their sensibilities, Washington and its presstitues were reticent about the alleged killer of children at Sandy Hook elementary school. A few years ago, not much was said about the alleged bombers of the Murrah Building. They were tried, convicted, and disposed of with little coverage. Only the alternate press today pays attention to Julian Assange and Bradley Manning. The main reason everyone heard about the War in Vietnam and Watergate is that Nixon was a Republican and the presstitues were and are Democrats. Lyndon Baines Johnson, who created the War in Vietnam and committed many other felonies was a Democrat. LBJ was given a Get Out Of Jail Free pass by presstitutes who were stricken with amnesia. It took members of the presstitution fifty years to remember LBJ and some of the things he did. Come to think of it, Lee Harvey Oswald didn't have his day in court — neither did John Wilkes Booth. They were just convicted and killed. Lenin, Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot were following in the footsteps of Sherman and Curtis LeMay who believed "if you kill enough of them, they will stop fighting." Lord Kitchener ended the Mahdi Army insurrection and the Boer Wars by following Sherman's example that was set by burning and pillaging Georgia from Atlanta to the sea. Hitler in the war on the eastern front was following the ethnic cleansing example that was set by Sheridan with his policy that has been summed up as "the only good Indian is a dead Indian." Presstitues covered all these stories providing the plebs with the news. Examples abound once one discards the rose tinted glasses provided by the presstitutes.

The United States of America has been a beacon for the world to follow. I always believed that and I still do, even now that my opinion of the U.S.A. has flipped 180°.
