Doctors

© MMXIII V.1.0.7
by Morley Evans

There were doctors long before there were pharmaceutical companies.

Doctor in Egypt
There were doctors in ancient Egypt (3150 BC). Who knows what they did? Acute injury would have been common and chronic injury rare.

Qinshihuang
The first Chin Emperor, Qinshihuang (259 BC to 210 BC), was given mercury pills by his doctors to bestow immortality. We know the emperor died at 49 after going nuts. We don't know what happened to his doctors. They probably said, "We did everything we could," in Chinese.

Qinshihuang was buried in his huge underground mausoleum which was surrounded by armies of life-size terra cotta soldiers and which contained a lake of mercury shimmering under a blanket of pearls in an underground night sky. We can guess the emperor's doctors continued practicing medicine since mercury was a new discovery that was believed by doctors to contain magical properties.

Hippocrates
Hippocrates (460 BC to 370 BC) came two hundred years before the first Chinese Emperor. Hippocrates is best known for the Hippocratic Oath and the Hippocratic Maxim "Do No Harm." For centuries, every doctor has sworn to adhere to the Hippocratic Oath when he becomes a doctor.

Some 19th and 20th century doctors
Yet down through the Ages, doctors have been guided by the maxim "Being a doctor means never having to say you're sorry." Immediately before pharmaceutical medicine (so-called "modern" medicine), doctors bled the sick. These doctors refused to accept that bacteria had anything to do with disease and were insulted when it was suggested that they themselves were the cause of most infant mortality. "The very idea!"

Dr. Morris Fishbein, head of the American Medical Association (1924-1949)
An unrepentant soul burning, forever
Doctors have never accepted responsibility for anything they have ever done. "That was somebody else, not us." Doctors just move on to the next big thing. Pharmaceutical drugs (including antibiotics and vaccines), radical surgery and radiation were big in the 20th century.

Doctors don't apologize, that would be admitting that they make mistakes.

Doctors can't admit they make mistakes. Doctors believe they are gods who are infallible and omniscient. (Most doctors are in the same business as fortune tellers, clairvoyants, sleight-of-hand artists and other magicians.) Doctors never make amends or pay money to their victims. They learn from the start that they are a breed apart.

Since doctors never Repent, and Repentance is required to be Saved, it is safe to assume that Hell is jamb-packed with doctors who are being tormented for eternity. Too bad, doctor boy.

Dr. Albert Schweitzer
There are doctors like Albert Schweitzer, Max Gerson and Hippocrates who won't be found in Hell, however. It is time good doctors separated themselves from the quacks and criminals who run the medical establishments that protect monsters.

For the first time, ever, the Internet provides a means for victims to sound the alarm. When the bell rings loud enough, and long enough, reform will come. Remember: Good doctors are motivated by compassion not money and status. Good doctors serve their patients, not themselves. We don't need the bad ones. They can go to Hell.

"I don't want to hear about this," your friends and family tell you. Don't shut up. Keep making noise. Tell the world about Medical Malpractice. Does your doctor put his money and position ahead of you? Find out. If he does, find someone else.

So true - my daughters
said at the launch of my book "Without Due Care" -"Its hard not to be angry with the good doctors who cover up for the others..."

You can not be a good doctor if you do this ...have the courage to stand up for patients...
