To: Dr. Jeff Turnbull, M.D., President of the Canadian Medical Association

The Canadian Medical Association is directly responsible for the atrocious condition of medicine in Canada — this stretches back all the way to 1867 when the CMA started "organizing" doctors in trade union fashion. In Canada the narrow, mostly financial, interests of doctors comes first and last. Patients are merely an income opportunity. Through the Canadian Medical Protective Association, the CMA has subverted justice, corrupted the courts, the legal profession, and the legislatures since 1901.

Nothing is too outrageous not to be ignored in Canada as my own case illustrates:

Good doctors who don't toe the line set by the CMA (whatever that may be) are persecuted and driven out of medicine while bad doctors who kill and maim their patients are protected by a phalanx of well-funded crooked lawyers and corrupt courts. Can the CMA lead the transformation of Canadian Medicine to put patients first? Can a leopard change its spots? Good doctors need to start their own professional associations that put quality patient care first — ahead of their own interests. The rest of them can go to Hell, "doctor shortage" be damned.
